Dr. Sanjay Juneja is a triple board-certified hematologist, medical oncologist and clinical informaticist serving as Vice President of AI & Medical Informatics for Tempus AI. In this role, he leads clinical AI strategy and implementation initiatives that bridge cutting-edge artificial intelligence with real-world oncology practice. He is the author of “We Need to Talk About Cancer: An IMPORTANT Book for Patients, Family, and Friends”, and a master’s candidate at Stanford Medical in clinical informatics management.
Dr. Juneja maintains an active clinical practice with Citrus Oncology while advancing the field through his expertise in AI applications in medicine. He serves on the Editorial Board of the peer-reviewed journal AI in Precision Oncology and is the co-founder of two startups, achieving his first successful exit in January 2026.
His contributions to healthcare innovation have earned national recognition, including being named Targeted Oncology’s inaugural 2024 Oncology Icon and receiving an invitation to the White House’s 2023 Healthcare Leaders in Social Media Roundtable.
